WHO IS THE REAL RANDY FRISCH?

Randy’s favorite game growing up was “Two Truths and a Lie.” (Okay, actually that’s a lie. It was Operation.) In that spirit, rather than bore you with a normal bio, we thought we’d have some fun. Try and guess which of the following are true or a lie.

QUESTION 1

To get some social media love, Uberflip co-founders Randy Frisch and Yoav Schwartz once lip-synced and danced to Drake’s In My Feelings as part of the #InMyFeelings Challenge atop the CN Tower in Toronto, over a 1,000 feet above the ground.

TRUE LIE

This is absolutely true, and you can watch the video here.

QUESTION 2

Randy is a computer programming whiz.

TRUE LIE

Lie—Randy is not especially strong in computer programming. In fact, part of the inspiration for Uberflip was to build a solution for marketers who have good ideas but who can’t always execute on the technical side.

QUESTION 3

Before introducing Uberflip’s technology to marketers, Randy tried to sell it is as a content solution for media publishers.

TRUE LIE

True-inspiration comes in many forms.

QUESTION 4

Most of Randy’s keynote presentations include metaphors, quotes, and reference to his three kids.

TRUE LIE

If you’ve ever seen one of Randy’s presentations you know that this is 100% true.

QUESTION 5

Randy would spend so much time talking thought leader Jay Baer’s ear off about the content experience that Jay finally threw up his arms and told Randy to start a podcast.

TRUE LIE

True, and Randy couldn’t be more grateful for Jay’s continued advice. Check out the Conex podcast, co-hosted by the amazing Anna Hrach, here.
